It’s on: November 17th i will be racing my first track race since 2000. And it’s not for the faint of heart either: During the Geneva Three Day Races there will be a professional night with a threeway sprints battle between Switzerland, France and Italy. =)

A few days ago I stumbled upon some of the most impressive and inspiring animation I have seen in a long time. It’s from Richard William’s doomed lifetime project The Thief and The Cobbler, creator of Who framed Roger Rabbit and author of the Animator’s Survival Kit.

Williams worked almost 30 years on this, spending most of his personal funds and bringing legendary Animators like Ken Harris or Art Babbitt aboard.

Although not as heavily relying on plugins as 3ds Max, there are still many useful tools for Maya out there. Most of the professional ones have some sort of installer which sometimes fails due to some missing Maya settings in the Windows registry.
